Salt Éire Association was established to bring together Ireland's sea salt producers, protect traditional coastal salt-making knowledge, and promote the highest standards of quality, sustainability and traceability across the Irish sea salt sector.

The main object for which the Company is established is To support, represent and promote the production of authentic Irish sea salt, encouraging cooperation between Irish producers, protecting traditional sea salt harvesting methods, and strengthening Ireland's position within the European and international sea salt sector.

Supporting Objects
In furtherance of the main object, the Company shall have the following powers:

To promote Irish sea salt production, heritage and innovation.

To represent Irish sea salt producers at national and European level.

To develop quality standards and certification for Irish sea salt.

To encourage sustainable coastal production practices.

To promote education and research regarding traditional and modern salt production methods.

To support marketing, awareness and recognition of Irish sea salt as a premium natural product.

Membership of the Company may be open to:

Individuals supporting the aims of the Alliance

Organisations involved in Irish coastal food heritage
Membership shall be governed by rules established by the Directors.
